ues arechanging very rapidly in
Bruce, he stated it would notbe.

would have to: be adjusted' to
keep the. equalization up to date.
in the county. He felt that before
this could be.. done, the Assessors
shouldget together and work
more as an assessment 'staff ' or,

Alexander Nimmo Of St. And-
rew's ' Presbyterian ''Church, in

Dr. Nimmo died from' a heart
seizure `'near Georgetown while
motoring from Toronto, enroute

STORMY EASTER WEEK-•'
END, .WITH `BAD' DRIVING
The weather, man had -been
treating us exceptionally well
during February and March, but
got in "his licks" over the Easter
week -end, which; curtailed Eas
ter traffics to some extent, and
sent week -end ; visitors scurrying
for • home :earlier than uspal on,
Sunday afternoon.
Good Friday was a reasonably
pleasant . day and saw some . out-:'
of -doors cleanup and raking 'be-'
ing done, ' Saturday . was dismal;.
and . that evening a now storm.

blizzard proportions. • Icy. high-
ways, , drifting snow' and; 'poor
visibility at times, combined . to
make Saturday 'night ' and • Sun -
•day driving hazardous.
Monday morning's 'snow shov-
elling job On main street was one
of ,the 'heaviest: experienced this
winter. 'The storm had abated,
however, .and snow plow crews
