R'. Siddall of Winnipeg died
after a ',brief illness in the Grace
Hospital,, Tuesday, March 21st,:
1961 at the age of 12. Born. in
Lucknow, he was the son of Mr.'
& Mrs. G, A. Siddall: His mother
was the •former - •Ida, Rooklidge,
member .of 'a pioneer Lucknow
family.
Eldon_ went to Winnipeg in
1904..He completed his schooling
there and was graduated from
Manitoba' College in 1911 With
the degree Bachelor of Arts. That
same year he was awarded the
' Rhodes Scholarship and during
•the period 1911 to: 1914he stud-
ded
tud :ned at St. John's College, Axford
University, England, .graduating.
with the degree; Bachelor of:Civil'
Law. He -returned, to :Winnipeg
and entered the, practice of law.:.
• In 1942'.he joined the- War'
Time Prices and' Trade. Board in
Manitoba which organization he
headed at. the end of the war
and subsequently he .acted in • a
legal capacity with the Manitoba.
Provincial' Governr'nent '. until his
retiremnet in 1958.
