With the two -car collision;' which
.claimed the ' life ' of . A C. Agnew;
of Lucknow . on the . evening of.
November. : 26th.
The collision occurred' at , the
intersection of County' Road 25,
and ',(Bluewater) Highway
miles: north of . Goderich. Evi-
denee indicated that Mr. Agnew
had failed .to stop: 'Clarence E's -
sex 'of Port, Albert was south
bound ;on •Highway.,': 21, and . had.
,passed another vehicle ' before
reaching .the • intersection. The.
view was obscured by a ' former
hotel building the• north-east
corner «of the 'intersection which
has since` been removed. A barn -
is' still` on the; property :and the
inquest 'jury, recommended, that
it ' 'be removed' . as.. ' being ' "detri-
mental :to visibility to the north."
Mr. Agnew' died soon after the
.accident' .of` multiple ; ,injuries..
M•rs... Agnew. was hospitalized
for :about a week and has ;since
been.: convalescing ' `'at her home.
Their'• son, • Evan; 'escaped with
minor injuries. • .• ry

10th, 1876. ,He 'was • the last of a'
family.. of :four boys, Alis brothers
Torn, , Jim and ..David having•
predeceased him..
Mr. Little's . wife; the' 'former,
Mary Drennan ..predeceased,: him
15 years ago., A son, Tom,;..died
38 years ago.. Ohly survivor pis,
a son James, who. was "a twin
brother • of. , Tom.. There . 'are also •
five granddaughters.
Mr. Little served. at one time
as.'Ashfield Township assessor;
He also was a member ' of the.
Lucknow . ' Oddfellow Lodge - at ,
one time, back in the days when
Iodge attendance meant .a trip -
by , horse and buggy 'or, nutter.
,The `funeral' ,service , :was held
at . the ..'MacKenzie Memorial
Chapel on Tuesday afternoon
conducted by 'Rev: 'Neil, McCom-
hie ...of Ashfield Presbyterian`
Church. Interment was in
Greenhill Cemetery. • .The`.;pall

Ashfield' and :five grandsons -in-
