Hughes,.. sang a solo and Mrs. Ted Collyer read the Scripture ' selection Miss Mary MacLeod as guest -speaker gave a talk emphasizing the, power of prayer -and the:inipertance. of. divine guidance in life Those unable for various reasons to attend regular meetings ,could fill an important, role in the !missionary. program of the , chur- ch, She was thanked and pre- sented with a gift Readings were given by Mrs. Gila Ham ilton. and Mrs. Evan Keith. and Mrs. DouglasGrahamgave a, resume of the, work carried on by the church in foreign and Ihome mission work especially the part for '• which the W.M.S.. is responsible, She read excerpts. from , various, letters, tenting, of the work. and needs in Formosa,. 1' Nigeria, India and other places :and. made a plea . far .a stirring of missionary, zeal.
