vation of the history of the
school sections entering this
area.
The project is being Promoted`
by Kint'ail Women's Institute • &
Mrs. Henry MacKenzie:. has as -
turned the tremendous task (the
publisher •speak* : from personal
experience) of ,attempting ,to ob-
tain and compile authentic in
formation about these sections.
It is 'a `task that • requires as-
sistance and co-operation, and,
the : •completion, of ,this project
will be a ..valuable contribution to
' preserving the history of the.
district: • •
A special' cabinet has been in-
stalled in. . the new • Ashfield
' School, which. * contains a' plc,
ture of each of the "old" •schools
.inthe area,. which will surround
the • historical .volume,, which•
will be . added • to at the history
of each section is completed. The
volume is being illustrated . Where:
possible, by the pictures. Of tea-
chers andclasses past . and ..pre-
sent if` available.
