C.W.L. ` of St. Augustine
The July ,meeting of the C.W.L.
of St. Augustine Parislh was held
in the Parish Hall with a very
good, attendance Rev. Vr, Edwin
Malak, spiritual director, opened
the meeting with the League'
Prayer. Fr. 'Malak, who succeeds
Fr, L. C. Thomas, comes. to St.
'Augustine and St. Marys . Par
ashes from St„ Michaels. in Learn--
ington, He was welcomed by. the
president, Mrs, William. Redmond,
on behalf of the members • of the
. c,W.L. Further preparations • were
discussed for the farn.ily picnic to
be held at the Palace Gardens,
Formosa in August.;.''rhe
will sponsor. a Bake sale .to ' be
.held• ,September ,lst, in. Lucknow.Also tickets are to . be sold, on
several •money 'chances in a draw
that will.' be held.' at the 'annual
fowl supper in the early fall. The
next nneet+ing will be on Tuesday,
