Davy of Port Elgin. The resig-
nation of Dr. Donald Milne, Kin-
cardine, as ::president of the
Bruce Liberal Association ' was
received and read at the begin-
ning of the meeting. The resigna-
tion concerned: a, personal stand
Dr. Milne had taken in support
of • one of the candidates. When
the gi*aestion arose 'as to. him
taking a stand while in the . office
;of president, he resigned so that ,
Ile might actively support the ..
man of his choice without dis-
rupting the. harmony of the or-
