a number of years. She was in
her '70th year - .

Edith, Mae Caprin `bell,- daughter of
the ;'.late Mr. and Mrs. " Harry.
Campbell of the. Second Conces-
sion of.'Huron .Township, Where
Edith was born in September,
1892. She attended.' Clover .Valley.
School. 'and in '1913 married Chas.'
W. Alton of Ashfield Township,
son of the late Mr. and • Mrs.
James Alton, who. predeceased:
her: in. November 1946..
Mr. 'and '.Mrs. Alton, operated
the -general!, store at Lane's. 13e -
fore moving to Dungannon in
1925 where .they .carried _on, the
