. Bert was, in his 62nd year, He
is well remembered in this com-
munity and,. all his -life was an

ardent hunter,
His wife, the ,former • Blanche
McCreight,, predeceased him • last
year and. Bert had been living
alone in a trailer on Union Side-
road in Goderich--Township. His
body Was found' in his . trai er'
about three o'clock Sunday. after-
noon, February 25th. He had been -
deed, it is believed for about ten
days,• with: a' post mortem; con-
firming that death was due to
heart attack. His body was froze'
en in the . crumpled position in
which` he had fallen .froma chair..
at the . .breakfast . table with the
teapot in: his 'hand., • '
