At thre Annual Meeting of the,
Waterloo' Cattle Breeding Asso-
ciation' held :On January 10th, at
Preston,. •major .revisions of the
Association. Constitution: were ap-
proved. Provisions were made
for the ,appointment "of' -four ad-
diltional directors, two for, Bruce
West :Grey and .two from., Huron
County. These districts.,. will thus:

The first meeting of the new
women's organization, The United
Church Women of L.uck'now -Un-
ited Church was held on Tuesday
January 16th at 8 p.m. There was
a large representation of 'ladies
from the former Woman's Asso-
ciation and the Afternoon and
Evening Auxiliary of the Wom-
an's Missionary Society. ,
The president,; Mrs. . Kenneth''
Cameron presided, bringing the
meeting up to date on .the - forma-
tion of the ne•w,',argarization; In
her remarks the president thank-
ed the..Iadies for thein confidence.;
in electing' her: as • their; 'leader.'
Mindful of •the great responsibil-
ity :she' has accepted, Mrs. Came-
ron asked .foil the co-operation' ; of
all • Members ' to help her in 'ful-
filling : her duties. •
Mrs.. Howard ' Strapp , was' in
change: of devotions ''with . the
theme • "Growth." She stressed
the` great challenge :facing '.:the
new united organization• aid left
with the'members the inspiration
that ::they mustnot be satisfied
but must grow'and achieve :great-.
