The 'cost of the new Vocational
Secondary •School and continual-
ly increasingschool tax rates was
a subject Of considerable discus-
sion.
It Was suggested that so e-.
dung/ was going to, have to be
done to ease the burden .of sec-
ondary,school costs on real. pro-
perty.,
It. was, questionedif it was
possible to determine what por-
tion of the tax dollar paid to
Goderich. District , High School,
was for tuition and transportation
to . Clinton Vocational • School.
From the south end of the Town-
ship more 'students now • go to
Clinton than to Goderich. There
is a staff of 60 rat Clinton.;
GAME PRESERVE?
Reeve Culbert said that there
was talk of the Saratoga Swamp
area being considered' by the De-
partment of Lands and Forests
as a game preserve and • water
'conservation area.
