Hockey Groupings
Registration . for ., all ' ;hockey cat-
egories from." Flees to :.Juveniles
-- = ages. 6 to 8, was • conducted at.
the . municipal office on Saturday.
Registration in . some classifica-
tions, particularly the older age
group, wasn't immediately . up to
expectations..' ,
We understand ' that entries m
"C" rather. than "D" grouping is
being considered.. This permits
drawing from a wider rural and
urban area. The "D" groups are
limited " to a 'seven mile . radius..
Also, most teams in "C groups
have artificial ice, permitting an
early start, and assuring good ice
atplayoff time.'
At the Lions meeting on Mon
day evening, President Bob Mac-
intosh called for ' hockey Volun-
teers to manage the teams.
The Lions are sponsoring Flees,
Squirts and " Pee ' Wees.. Ernest
Button will be in . charge of the
Bantams, Otto Pedersen the Mid
