captured the fancy and imagin-
ation of old and young, In those
days, the light was powered by
coal oil and wound by hand. Mr;.
Campbell carried the fuel to the
top' and 'wound the light. He did
this at dusk when the lamp was'
lit, and again ascended the stairs
in: the early ',houas of the morn-
ing to wind the mechanism that.
kept the .. reflector rotating until

ing that makes the "cad Amber-
ley" a place in .the past; But
'peo°ple don't change, and Mr. and
Mn ...Campbell have won the re-
spect of the community in their
many, . many .year' as ''residents
there:,. Mr. Campbell has been
bedfast for the past year with.
an arthritic condition but likes

Mr. and Mrs. Young have been
residing with Mr.',and Mrs. Camp-
bell for the past: -While. The other
daughter is Mrs..Stetwart, (Clara)

Huron ;Township, There, are two
sons in the family,' Austell ' who
lives :at Atwood., and Glenn on
the ..home • farm... at Arnlben1ey.
They have eight 'grandchildren
and twelve ' great grandchildren.

Dave Campbell who lives on the

Robert 'Campbell of Kincardine.
