The ladies in charge of setting
tip ,and arranging the display of
beautiful rugs and quilts •were
Mrs. A E McKim, Mrs, W. 1H,en-
deacon and Mia. K. Camerons.
In these exhibits were • 14 hook-
. • ed rugs in patterns designed. by
Rowan of Rii'tteranere and 10
• rugs designed, and hooked by
local 'people. Mrs. R. Ackert ar
r ed . a very a'ttna etiVe display
o ;ready -out rugs,nine of which
ere done 'by High , Sichool 'pu-
pils.: The seven quilts adorning
the +Walls were greatly admired'
or their designs and fine needle
work. `• •

alogues dated 1896, 1891 and 1902.
Among the. antiques were 'an did
style table lamp, a ihandsome
china clock,. an Old: costume, old
.chairs and curtains. samplers and.
'hand, woven 'arti'cles.
The tea stable decorated with.
a (beautiful arrangement ofroses
,was presided' over 'by.. Mrs; E.
Ackert and Mrs. J. W . Joyatit 'in,
the afternoon, and by Mrs. R. H.
Thompson and; Mrs. H. Stapp in
