The Guild is going to :buy new
choir hats for the . junior choir.
'Thank you cards were acknowled-
ged.. Plans were made to eater for
an approaching ° supper and the
Pot Luck*. Sopper preceding the
annual ,rneeting in January.,
The ladies worked nil a quilt and
Christmas goodies .Were... served

day Sehoel presented their Christ-
taas, concert in the' church on Sat-
urday evening December 19 to a
large 'audience of parents' and
friends: '
The band composed of June,
Ackert, Mary Murdie, Ricky Prit-
chard, Eugene Pritchard, Andy.
Anderson, Rev, Mr. Strapp and,
led : by .Klein' Hall provided a half
:hour of pleasing music while the
pupils ° `assembled in the Sunday
School 'roombefore taking their
places in the . choir loft and aud-
itoriuxn of the church, The Junior
choir under the direction pf Mrs, •
G. ,Montgomery sang. •
A pre -junior choir 'sang "Good
King Wenceslaus" with Gail Prit-
chard and k Bob Hall taking solo
parts, ' Mrs. R. Cumming ; was acc-
ompanist for these. numbers, Other
choruses were, Away in a Mana-
ger, His . Lullaby and, (Christmas
with Mrs..; James 'MacTavish 'tak-
ing thee solo part. • The audience
sang Christmas Carols:

artist of London portrayed the
Bethlehem , scene and ' 'the : Wise
Men. Inset in thelarge, star was
drawn a road to. the 'Cross: as a
symbol, He was born to be a
.Saviour as well • as a King. Add-

pleted picture by lighting .effects
produced by red, . blue, , purple,
orange, yellow 'and white lights,
thrown :on the eanvas,
Theprogramme was closed by

benediction 'after which bags of
