For a few years "pingpong"
has 'been played and enjoyed at

there was no proper equipment
to • use, the game did not advance,
Luckily things proved to be ' diff-

this game grew, : ,and it wasn't
long before thecries for a proper
table, and equipment were heard.
Through arrangements with the
Student Council and the Physical
Education teachers this equipment
was, ordered. Just this past . week
it arrived and it has been • set u p

THE. CHRISTMAS TREE.
i (by Lane Gardner). '
Will s me one please, just -tell,' me
why.
For one day a tree should die
Have people -lost the common -way
Of knowing nature's, gaiety? .
In a woodlot there may be
Just a snow clad Christman Tree
' That is where we see. the best
`See .how nature has them dressed
Sure nature know‘ that more will
grow
So they fall and bravely go
' But neer will the hand of .man,.
Dress a :branch like nature can.
'Arany juin the happy throng
And to the cite march along
Dressed in splendour forone day,
Then from life . they fade 'away. '
This is sacrifice supreme
Hold it . then in 'high esteem
May, their •light ,their.truth divine
Always shine at Christmas' Gime.

But all those laws. are .good and
