For a few years "pingpong" has 'been played and enjoyed at L.D H.S.; however, because no odepushed this game andbecause there was no proper equipment to • use, the game did not advance, Luckily things proved to be ' diff- erent -this year. Under the encour- agement and leadership of Mr. Ramautarsingh. the interests this game grew, : ,and it wasn't long before thecries for a proper table, and equipment were heard. Through arrangements with the Student Council and the Physical Education teachers this equipment was, ordered. Just this past . week it arrived and it has been • set u p t on the stage of the auditorium; Re- • cently teams have 'been form ing and thoughts about games with other schools have been discuss - led. ' The 'Student Council has decided to _hold their Christmas Dance. this coming•.. Friday night, with Grade 11. acting as .managers for the dance (See Coming Events).
