School held at 7:30 p.m, on De-
cember 13th, . in the ` Sunday
School. room; Rev, Mr, MacLeod.
was chairman & welcomed ' those
present. Ile was assisted by Sun-
day School Superintendent . Mr,
Dale Haldenby. Miss Margaret
Malcolm; presided at the piano for.
the musical numbers. The High
School orchestra under -the direc-
tion of Mr. Elwin Hall played a
number of . Christmas, carols.
The service . opened with • the
singing • of hymn .169. followed .by
prayer by Rev. Mr. MacLeod. . The
scripture Lesson from Luke 2;, 1
to 20' was . taken by Mrs: Donald
McCormick's class of girls.. Reci-
tations were . given by Annette
Kirkland, Rhonda'Gibson, Glenda
Jamieson; Etta:. Belie . MacDonald;.

phick. This w,as .followed by hymn

"The •'Other : Wise Man" followed.
A : short play 'entitled "Christmas
Peace" was presented by Miss
Gladys MacDonald's: class pf girls
and Mr. Jack .MacDonald s .class'
of ' boys. This play opened with
the audience singing hymn 170.
After the singing of .hymn ' 171,
bags of candy, etc., were: distrib-
uted to the children. Rev. Mr.
MacLeod closed 'thee service with
. prayer.
