The death of Harold E. Dough-
erty, 42, well-known Ashfield town-
ship farmer occurred Sunday, Oc-

Born in Ashfield, Township, he
was a son of the former Hazel
Johnston : a n d the late Edgar
Dougherty. He sailed the Great
Lakes for 14 years .and. since that
