Tuesday morning, we were greet-
ed with a "Winter Wonderland."
Everything was covered :with the
beautiful white stuff and it was
still snowing It disappeared, but
Saturday morning, we again awoke
to a white world —• it was cold.
We ,all hope winter isn't here yet.
• Mrs. Frank. Brown was pleas-
antly surprised last. week. • When
picking up 'the mail one morning
she .received a cheque for, five
good 'bucks. from the . Goodyear
Tire & Rubber Co." for, a sugges-
tion she submitted for the "Neigh-
boring Mentos" column.
