Editor Clayton Schaus • After being away for the week- end,„. we came home Monday even- ing to lean that an old' friend,' "Cam" Thompson,. publisher ; of The Lucknow Sentinel, had passed away with a heart .attack last Fri- day morning. He was only '56. We, • and possibly hisfamily and friends, did not know that. he .had .aheart condition. because we Were both from Bruce County, . we met up. with Mr. and Mrs, Thompson. at many conventions, all the way from Halifax to. Vancouver, and they were happy .companions. In the newspaper.. `field, their son, Don took , a course at Ryerson Poly- technic, after:' helping in the ,office during his school days, and then returned to join: his dad in pub- lishing ub- lishing the Lucknow paper. . They. made: it one of ,the best all-around papers in Bruce county, or even in a wider circle,. • addition, they .. built up •a fine job -printing 'business. ; Like many . others, • we. find it hard to believe that, L.
