Arena CushiOnS:
Get Repair Job
The cushions that circle. the ice,
surface at the Lucknow arena
have., received some ` attention in
the past week. ,George Whitby and
'Harry Hackett were busy there
for a few days repairing and.
:straightening the boards in pre-
•paration 'for another winter sea-
son.
Normally, the cushions receive
a ' beating during the hockey sea-
son, but on top of this they had
been badly forced . out of align-
inent when the new cement floor,
was recently installed in the arena.
In many cases, • it was necessary
for the workmen to install new
boards' but in other stretches they
were able to straighten the exist-
ing boards which we understand
are the orignial ones. The work
is . being done under the advice
of the -arena colrunittee and • the
cushions .will also receive' a brand
