Mrs, George Mitchell. Quiet music
was played preceding. the meeting
:by ' Mrs,' Garnet Farrier. Mrs.
Mitchell opened the . 'meeting; and
took charge of the worship 'part
of the meeting in , place of Mrs.
Russel .Purdon • who wds: unable to
attend. The. Hymn Jesus .with Thy
Church Abide was read as a scrip
tore reading. The Lord's PraYer
wasrepeated in unison. An inter-_
esting missionary' storywas ' read
by. Miss Winifred Farrier.
Mrs. Mitchell read a story on
evangelic work and stated that a'
personcould do a little evangelistic
work .themselves. Mrs. W. •R.
Farrier ,played hymns Mrs. Coffin
was incharge of the Study Book
and gave an . interesting chapter.
on Opportunit and ended with a.
humorous • dory concerning a
Sunday School Teacher. Mrs. Milan
• Moore presided for the business.
The Roll Call ,'was answered by a
'Biblical .versecontaining the ;word
"Learn". The minutes were read
and approved., The .. financial

ruptured. appendix. Mrs, Thomp-
son reports Charles is improving'..

were in London .on Sunday where.
Mrs Purdon was admitted to
Victoria Hospital :for a check-up,
Mrs.. Mary Chapman Sr., ' who
recently suffered a fall •in her
home and .recently wasadmitted
to Wingham and District Hospital,
is improving.

HOW;THE,PROGRAMME WORKS
Under the basic' plan, theparent
agrees ft;make monthly 'payments to
the Bank starting; say, two years be-
fore the student; enters university;
and terminating, one year after grad -
.
rad• 'uation. In return,the parent receives
an annual sum from the Bank .at the
start of `each' of 'the four. university°.

VARIANTS OF. THE PLAN
Several optional plans are available.
under the programme; and these vary
as ',fa the number of years in which
the parent wishes to make monthly
payments, as well as to the; amount
reiquired annually for university ex-
penses. Plans are based-on_objectives,
ranging from ,$1,000 to $8,000 pay-
able
to ;the parent in four annual:
instalments.
