In 1908 Bruce Beach Campers Association wasorganized and: shortly. afterwards the. Association instituted field day and regatta day sports. In• 1915 the beach had • grown ' ' until . its boundaries : extended : north to the eighth concession. , In' 1917... it ;ex- tended sti er north: 'In this, y t cottage were numbered. t Owing' to t northern growth of • the . colony, , the. place of .the Sabbath service 'was moved from the McCosh• flats to Touts' flats. In the. year 1920 Sunday School .was • organized. The ' same year steps 'were taken to provide greater. facilities for sport. The following' year a Tennis:' Court was provided'. in each division; • Steps were taken in 1921 to • se- cure a 'title to the ground on which .the cottages were• . built, as a result a Provincial Inspector visited the beach in '1922' (August).
