Fifty at Reunion.
About 50 descendants of the late
James Smith, Sr;; and Margaret
Mallough, 'met in Harbour Park at
Goderichfor: their first reunion on
Saturday, August 8th. They, were
present from Sault ste. Marie,
Toronto, Ripley; Lucknow; ' Dun-
gannon and other points
Mrs. Helen Barkwell, Mrs
Walter Dexter . and Mrs.. Stewart
Brooks had charge of a few games
and contestsfor the younger ones.
The older ones were happy remin-
iscing and renewing ,acquaintanc-
es: • •
Next year Mrs. Brooks. and Mrs.
Dexter are to be in charge of..
sports, assisted by ' Mrs. Wes -
Smith and 'Mrs. Russell Ritchie.
The reunion next year is' to be held
the last Sunday in July.; at . the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Glenn
of Dungannon.

The Junior Training Schools:
for the . 4-H Homemaking . Club
girls in Bruce County are scheduled
for . the last: two weeks in August.
The fall project is entitled,
"Sleeping : Garments; which will,
be : teaching in the basic . sewing
principles. It is anticipated there
will be 50' Clubs in the County this'
fall:with over: 400 47H Homemak-
ing ' Club inernbers participating.
Training schools will. 'be held.. at
Wiarton, Port Elgin, Lucknow
and Walkerton. :.
The ".Lucknow school will ' be
held:: next .'Monday and, • Tuesday
with sessions from 10:00' a.m.' to
4:00 p.m..
