speaker at the • Kintail Women's
Institute meeting on Thursday,
August 13th in the community
hall. He spoke on. the . role of
agriculture in:. the hungry world.
The motto, never criticize the
man . until you have walked a mile
in his shoes, was given by Mrs.
Bert Alton. The roll call was
answered by a cookie recipeand
sample. Mrs; George Moncrief
gave the current events. An in-
vitation was read from Goderich
• W.. I. for the Kintail branch to
attend their. October meeting on
October 1st.
A gift . was sent to 'Mrs. Ray
Dalton, one• of the faithful mem-
bers, who is a patient in Victoria
Hospital, .London.

TEESWATER.
' The descendants of the ' fate 'Mr
and Mrs. Wm.G. Sherwood held
their :third annual ' picnic at the'
home of Mrs. Robert McInnes &
Mr. William, McInnes, near Tees -
water, with an attendance of 37.
There were a number of families
not able to be present' due' to ill-
ness.
A program of recreation and
games under the direction of
Karen McKenzie : and Brenda.
Henry was enjoyed. Thirteen
years and over was won by Murr-
ay McKenzie; 11-12 years, . Don-
ald Thornton; ''9-10: years Ken-
neth Girvin; 5=6 years,, Debbie
Walker 3-4 years, Jimmy Fin-
nigan.

Brenda Henry's ..team, while Mrs.

daughter of Mr.: and Mrs. Dan
McInnes.

Eai B. Church, is leaving for ;a
new charge in Stratford after ten
years in Elmira, a pastorate
which was climaxed by the build-
ing of a new church: Mt. Siebert •
is a well-known horticulturalist.
