'A gown of silk ,,peau de soie
was chosen by the bride, the"
princess ' style gown , fashioned
with elbow -length sleeves and ap-
pliqued with brocade roses. A
pillbox headpiece held her finger
tip. veil and she carried a cas-
cade of sweetheart roses and
stephanotis.
Maid . of ; honor was. Miss, Mar-
garet McDonald,Toronto. The
bridesmaids were Miss Maryanne
Miller, Goderich and Miss Dean-
na ..,Farrish . of London, sister of
the .bride. Barbara and Janet
Farrish, two little cousins of the
bride were flower. girls. The 'at-.
. tendantswere similarly • dressed
in silk 'turquoise . withheadpieces
and shoes, to match.. Their flow-
ers were . cascades of white mums
scattered with ,turquoise baby;.

OBITUARY:
MRS. MARY' HOLLYMAN'
A. well: known resident of Blyth,
. Mrs: Mary Hollyman, .. passed
;away. following a .lengthy illness,
on Friday, May 29, 1964, in ,the.
Clinton Public Hospital.. She was
in her 73rd year.
.Mrs. Hollyman was the former
Mary Carter and ,was • born in
Owen Sound, daughter of the' late
• David Carter and. Anne Jane .Ta-'
man.: • " • •
• In 1913, she married' the. late
Francis•:,John. 'Hollyman,. who,.pre-
deceased her • in 1956. Inilnediately
following their marriagle•, they liv-
ed in 'Clinton where Mr, Hollyman
was employed with 'Battliff's• Bak-
ery. Following this • they resided
in Lucknow for five . years and
: Waterdown for four .years. They
moved ,to Blyth :lin 1927 and Pur-
chased the bake shop of; John
Strang, which they operated until
retirement in. 1944. While resi
dents of Lucknow Frank- Holly, -
mane was associated with his bro-,
ther, . the late Edgar, Hollyman,"
Survivors include ..' two daugh-
ters,
•Mrs. • Douglas (Dorothy)
Stewart, Woodstock, and Mrs, ,Ro-
beet (Frances). McClinchey, _Blyth,
four , grandchildren, Karl ' a n d
Kathryn Stewart, Patricia • and
. Wayne McClinchey. Also' five bre-
thers and three sisters; John,
Woodstock, Mrs, • Margaret "Lock-
wood, Clinton, Reginald, Wood-
stock, William, R.R. 3, Blyth;:
Mrs. Nelson • (Zella) Patterson,.
