A discussion took place : regard-
ing the applying of calcium chlor-
ide
hloride on township roads, the spray-
ing of roadsides and " also; : spray-
ing for barberry, and: buckthorn.
On a' motion ; by Couns. Jeffer-
son, and Smyth, Council decided
to carry on in 1964 with the bar-
berry • and buckthorn spraying
program to about the same ex-
tent as ,in 1963 ($1000.00). The
county weed inspector was to be
notified to this . effect. • '
It was estimated that the cost
of snowplowing, etc. for the past
1.964
winter ( 1963, a would amount
`•to , about . $3,050.00. These costs are
quite a ,bit' lower than usual.
