April. 1811f. He passed. away in Frontier hospital .after a lingering 'illness, He was in' his 74th year. Stewart. was the son of the. late:. Mr,..: and Donald ' Keith •of Concession 4: 'CAlross,.', where • he. wasborn on 'July 28th, 1890_ .: As a young man. he ' worked for two .years :in. Lucknow in Tom Watson's barber { Shop before go- ing west in 1910. There he oper- ated -a • barber shop in Milestone, later moving to Eastend ' where he . worked briefly . at his trade before homesteading south of Frontier in' 1914, • He spent the remainder ofhis life in the Fron- tier .=district, On November, 22nd, 1917, . he married Amanda Anderson of Shaunavon. Besides his widow he is survived , by one. son Herman of Frontier and two daughters, Mrs: Alice Francis ' ` of Frontier and . Mrs.. ' Gladys . Johnson of 'Shauavon. A daughter Beatrice predeceased him in 1954: •' Y Alsosurviving are three bro- thers. and ::a sister, ..: Mrs. ° John Adams (Beatrice) and Fred : of Lucknow,.. Charles of •Long;. Beach, California and . John of Lavonia; Mich. Stewart's father died in 1913, and his' mother, a number of years ago.
