Deathgame suddenly to Jos-
eph Roy Collyer at• his. home in
Lucknow late, Saturday night.
Death reesultedfrom a heart seiz-
ure. Roy ° who had been living
alone, had been dead several hours
when.. he was found: in the bath-
room., of his' home by • his • sister,
June Collyer, when she called at
the. house shortly after ten' o'clock,
'on -Sunday morning.
• Roy .would have been 51: on Mon-
day. ,He
on-day..He was, the sdn of the late.
Joseph. Collyer and Sarah Donald-
son 'sand was -'born at Thurso,
Quebec, 'on. Maye 4th, .1913. He .came.
to Lucknow with hisparents. over
forty years, ago, when his • father
accepted the position of miller at
the Treleaven Flour ' Mill.
Mr. Collyer died in 1939, Roy's
mother died in November 1962.
Roy was a clever youth .'and
topped, his, classes ' in school, ` He
possessed more than ordinary vo-
cational ability. He was fond of
hunting and fishing ' and at one
time spent much . of ,his leisure
time in these pursuits. For, seine.
twenty years he was employed as.

Sentinel office, and. of lateyears
had been employed . at Lucknow

ing. In the absence of Fri. Malak,
Mrs. J. O'Donnell took charge of
the spiritual part of the meeting.

egate to the C.W,L. convention

tions to be dealt with at the Dio-

her mother, Mrs. Jim O'Donnell,

London on Friday attending the
functions of. the 10th annual gath-
ering of the . queens.
The- group met in .the afternoon
at Hotel • London,' ' where /they
heard :a fashion talk by Miss
Marney Roe, were . presented with
certificates and Queen's Club
membership 'pins • and after 'car-
eer discussions had a group pic-
ture taken.
There was . time . for shopping or
relaxing or a visit to the Free,

A hat parade, a fashion show'

This historic congregation which
had its beginning with the arrival
of Ashfield's earliestsettlers
in the Kintail district,' will ob-
serve their 116th anniversary this
month. The guest 'speaker on this.
occasion will .be Rev. Angus, Mac-
Kay, a ' native of Whitechurch,
and home on furlough from the
Jhansi area in . Northern India.
