•CENTRE TO; RE' -OPEN SUNDAY
- . The infori ation , centre at.- the.
Douglas Point nuclear power sta-'
tion will open to the public. for
the 1964, season on. Sunday, April
26th, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:80 p.m.
The centre will be open on Sun-
days only. until ' May 16th • when
'daily operation from 10:00 a.m..
to 5:30 p.m. will ', begin. Mr. Ivan
Lloyd, Chief Guide, will be on
hand to describe the wok being
carried, out at the site. ` .
The centre has become a major
attraction' for' .tourists in; the Bruce
area • Last year, more than 50,000
people visited • the plant which . is
Canada's first full-scale nuclear
power station, Construction at the
site will becompieted this year,.
and the plant will be in operation
in 1965. .•

First 'Canada Visit
Miss Margaret Hamilton of
Glasgow, Scotland and Miss 'Bet-
ty Hamilton of Niagara Falls vis-
ited over the week -end with , Mr.
and Mrs. Gilbert Hamilton, Bruce
and Ross. Miss •Margaret. Ham-
ilton is a first cousin, of. Gilbert's
and this ' is her. first visit in Can-
ada.

Of . Clinton ' visited recently with
Mr. and Mrs.: Ira, Dickie and
boys.
Thanks to the Scout and Cub
leaders the boys enjoyed the thrills
of sucker fishing. The Scouts fish-
ed at Pine River after school on
Friday and- then ate stacks of
pancakes and maple syrup. The
Cubs proved equally as good fish-
ermen on their outing on' Saturday
afternoon.

Rev. G. I.1. King, Secretary to
the Mission to Lepers in Canada
was guest speaker at South Kin-
loss on Sunday. For Rotation Sun-
