Bins Trip To -Thi City E1� Washington The decision to take a the Kinloss Boy Scouts on a bus trip to 'Wash- ington this August was ' taken at a Parents' Meeting last Friday at the. Scout Hall in Holyrood. The idea of such ' an outing dates back two years ago , when the Kinloss boys visited Ottawa and Montreal.; While . camping at the capitol city, they became : friendly with . some American Scouts camped nearby, As the result of an American in- vitation at that time. to visit Wash- ington and an answer ' maybe" by the Kinloss Scouters, the pre- sently planned trip has developed. It is expected about" 30 boys from both the North and South Troops will ,inakee ,the: trip. While only ; boys , 13 and over will • be going, there will be . a : special camp in July for the ` younger boys. Departure ; time has been set for Thursday, August 27 with . the 520 mile . trip spread over . two days. ' This will allow three days in Washington General touring around the.' city is planned ' for 'Saturday with visits to the .Cap- Cap- itol, White House, President Ken- nedy's grave and other Washing- ton landmarks. Sunday `will' have -- church paradeand visit to an Atlantic Ocean swimming beach. On Monday the boys will: visit the F.B.I. building, the '.Smithson- ian Smithsonian Institute • and other museums, Byr leaving on Tuesday morning the touring " group. will " arrive home • on Wednesday,; September 2 to complete a seven day tour While . in Washington, the.'
