The company was started in
1957 with personell who have had'
extensive; experience in the con-
crete business.
Concrete Is made from sand and'
stone which is' cleaned' and ''graded'
to rigid specifications. : Each :batch.
is carefully weighed through a
scale, to make. . sure ,the exact'
amount of sand, stone, cement and
water goes : into every, . yard, thus
assuring the customer each load
is :the same, and will meet the re-
quirements of the type of concrete
specified. •
The concrete trucks and mixers
are designed especially . for the
mixing and .: delivery of concrete.
Ready .: mixed concrete, in most
cases, is less expensive than 'nix-
ing on the site, and is much sup-
erior in 'quality' and strength. The
latter is . due to the fact; . that this
company use only the very best
ingredients,' and do not use pit run
gravel, as it is dirty in most cases,.
and ; the quantity of sand ' and
stone: can not be controlled.
Ready mixed concrete also has:
the . advantage of setting faster,
and' arriving on . the" job when it is
required, going into place easily
and quickly.. The ' work is com-
pleted in a minimum of time, and`
when: • the last load is in place the,
job is finished, ' as there is ' no
cleaning up.
There ' are :several, :strengths' of
concrete, and different additives;
which . are used for certain' stypes
of:.. building.' They have qualified
men who can assist the customer..
in securing the right grade of con-
crete for the particular job to be..
