A full service programme for
the benefit of Ontario children who
have cysticfibrosis has been an-
nounced jointly . by. the Canadian
Cystic -Fibrosis- Foundation, On-
tario Branch and the Ontaiio So-
ciety for Crippled Children.
A.s part of the Society's ,new
expanded' . programme, .. this will
come into effect on . April ' ist next
and will mean that the Ontario:'
Society ' for ,Crippled Children will
be':extending its services, and "fac-
ilities now available to 'other phy-
sically' handicapped children to in -
elude .
n -elude.: the cystic 'fibrotic .child
The Society's ` Nursing Depart-
ment, through its 'sixteen . District
Offices across the province, will
be. providing' ' their visiting home
nursing services, its specially qual-
ified : nurses having completed a
training course to . acquaint ' them
withi, the 'problems and techniques.
involved in the treament of cystic
fibrosis. . ' • •
Easter. Seal 'funds' will be avail-
able to assist parents . in. the pur-
chase . of costly inhalation equip
menta and '.necessary drugs, which
would otherwise impose a heavy
financial .burden on: the family of
the cystic - fibrotic child, . . '
M •.an experiment ' a ., .limited'
number of • cystic ' fibrotic children
who it is felt can benefit -front a
camping experience will'. 'attend
each 'of the Society's • five camps
this summer. ' The camping ' pro-
gramme will' be appropriately ad-
apted :to ,accommodate'. these- chil-
dren, and staff will be trained for
this. particular group. • ,

ers.
In the work period ' the Golden,
Bar Brownies learned safety rules
concerning fire. The Brownies
