Last fall, the Bruce County
Mutual Aid Fire Association, spon
sored a poster contest among.
grade; 5 students in Bruce County,
with the theme "Fire Prevention
In The Home". : '
Each lire dept. within the County
gave individual prizes for the best
posters in its- area and .the best
boy and girl poster was : entered
in the Bruce County finals..
The • committee . consisting' of
Fire Chief James Meyer. of Tees
water, Fireman Stuart Collyer of
Lucknow, and Bruce County . Dep-
uty Fire Coordinator Irwin Lob -
singer' of Walkerton named the win-
ners this week whowill each re-
ceive ,a suitable trophy donated
by .Mr. Lobsinger.
The winning posters were award-
ed to Robert MacDonald of the W.
E. Thompson . Public School in
Kincardine and Brenda Leahy of.
