In view of adoption ,policy . as
stated this week by the Children's
Aid Society of Metropolitan Tor-
onto, with • specific reference to
Jewish; agnostic and atheistic ap-
plicants, the Children's Aid 'Soc-
iety of the County of Bruce would
state its own adoption policy in
this regards as follows:
Since .. this Society . has more
than enough,. Christian applicants'
for its . available children . at ' the•
present time; and since it believes
that thebest interests of all child-
ren in its care are served through
the auspices of a home with Chris-
tian background (Jewish children
excepted.. only),' ' therefore t h e

neighborhood of $800, which about
equals/Apt ' year's figure.
The lobjective this year . is a
minimum of $1,000 and there is
every indication this will be ex-
ceeded. The need, and the good
your dollars can do. in .aiding
crippled ' children, is; not limited
to any set., figure. •
Locally this crippled children's
work . is, promoted by the Lucknow
and District ' Lions ' Club, and' last
year's. fund was completely ex-•
pended' m , the good work they did.
