21st meeting of 1st Lucknow Guide
Company, members . came dress-
ed • as guides from various coun-
tries belonging to the World As-''
sociation: ' The mayor part 'of the
evening was .a candlelighting cer-
emony during' which the Guides
repeated , their law, and renewed
their promise. Greetings were
read from Guides • of Norway. A
.brief acount of the life ' of Lady
B -P was read, and an explanation,
of ' the: World flag ways . presented.
A collection was taken up ' for the
Thinking Day fund, which amoun-
ted.. to $40.00. A candle . was then
lit inhonour. of Queen Elizabeth,
and the .singing . of: "The Queen"
concluded this portion . of the meet-
ing. Sandra Boak and Patsy, Mar
riott, were then enrolled. Presen-
tation of badges' followed: Janet,
Carruthers received her Cooks
badge, and , the Little House ' Em-
blem. Second Class badges 'and
Hostess badges were.presented to
Lynda , Chishohtn, Donna :Forster,
Donna Ritchie and Nancy Kirk-
land'. .
The next half hour was spent

"International Charades.' Linda
