increased the :' cost of wheat'to
$2.09 in'Montreal, 'a loss'; of '30c:
a Bushell .to. the Wheat Board.
With the 1963 ' levy, used: up the
Board ' was forced to. use as• col-
lateral the 1962 surplus levy of
$562,000 which was to have been
returned to the producer.. Since
the.•' Russian sale, this has been

the wheat .board is asking • is an

ducer at marketing time so that
will not : happen again. Mr. Bolton
also stated that the Board , at no
time. used . more of the levy than
was necessary. He then told the
producers • t h e Ontario Wheat
Board ' recommended an .. increase
in the levy to .10% • of the nego-
tiated floor ' price.

the wheat vote which will be
counted after, • all the counties in
the Province have voted on the
increased levy.

While the exchange. of Christmas
cards had grown ' to tremendous

means a modern day custom.

old. Mr., Kaiser come across, it
recently tucked away in. ' an old,
book. 'It is 'a -2 x 3 inch folder
with a lacy edge around it and

With Betty Wall presiding, the

cheese .in local stores. The next

'meal planning, emphasizing that
everybody needs milk. Mrs. Col

and judged. The meeting conclud-
