mail courier of Dungannon, 'ob-
served his 72nd birthday ons. Sun-
day. Mr., 'Rivett still covers the
20 -mile route daily,' with its. sixty
boxholders, as he . has been do-
ing for 45 years, He can relate
many interesting incidents over
the years, especially of thewin-
ter trips: with "Old Dobbin", and
• later when snowplowing efforts
weren't as efficient or successful
as they are today in keeping
roads open for motor travel:

cause of an anonymous donation
of . ' $100 to , the . Sunday • . - School,
they, were able to operate for the
year -without going : to- the ,Board
for money., However, he stated
that the average 'contribution 'per.
pupil per'Sunday 'is 7c,.•and that.
this average should be 11c,: just.
to. operate. He also mentioned
that the gross expenditure :will
go up sharply with. the :new cur-
riculum.
'Only 11/4ic per pupil per
Sunday' is given to missions in
the ' Sunday School. Rev. Strapp
commented' that. Lucknow •had one
of the best Sunday Schools ' in : the
area and. ;complimented the 'tea-
chers for making this : possible.
There are 157 pupils on the roll
with an average attendance : of,
135:5. ' There ` .are 16 ;teachers and.
assistant , teachers. '•

This was a record' year.

by transfer of 'membership. Six
couples' were united in; marriage.,
Twenty members or adherents
passed away during the .year. The
church has a membership of 337
resident and '95 non-resident foil
a total of. 432,
