•Reeve Chester Erpmer ion `of''
Huron Township decisively won

He -was nominated ' by George
McLean of 'Ripley, and • Clifford
Gilbert of Arran, Township:;
It was an honor . well deserved
by the 44 -year-old Reeve who was
making his second attempt at the
seat of honour in. the County. Two
years ago. Chester ' was defeated
by John MacKenzie of Bruce
Township.
Two .ballots 'were required to de-

Reeve Roswell Smith, of ' Amabel
10 and 'Reeve . Rudolph Seigner of

Our Mayor. Whitton, who, en-
joys , power . much the: same as
•your reeve, certainly receives
'more: ; publicity. Parking, ; always
, a . problem'; in, Lucknow; seems
.much better organized' here in the,
capital. I:, suppose it's' beeause, we
have' more policemen than you'
have, either that :or ,•they .' are
busier
In closing, we would like . to say •
that although we have ; mostly
compliments: for your . pap'er, we
do :miss an editorial page,' more

Belfast who seems to have : laid
down ,: his pen.
Yours' sincerely,
