John opened his . eyes : for the first time about 10 days ago. He had been in an un conscious condition up to that. time. He shows no sign of re- cognition when his family %pis • it him. He .has spoken .a• few words occasionally but . dses not normally answer when Spoken to. John is taking soft food• and drink by mouth now after being fed through a tube. for several weeks. While bis condition has gr'. ' en his family encouragement, he has a long hard road • ahead torecovery and hits many friends in this area are hoping 'for more encouraging reports.
