fourth prizes to the Pine River

Sam Pollock, ' at • 86 'years of
age, was the oldest,. exhibitor, and
had the biggest pumpkin, about
the •size of a wash tub, and the'
largest red potatoes exhibited ,in
Ripley in at • Least the 1 as t, 25,
years. •
Mrs.. MacCharles Had 74 Entries.
` Among the exhibitors :with a
large number of :entries, was .Mrs.
Oliver MacQharles Marion had.
74 entries' in the hall .with 74 'pri-
zes. After placing•these in Rip-
ley on Friday morning, she went.
to Milverton in, the afternoon to
judge, .'then. attended both. Ripley
and Teeswater on Saturday. Mrs.,
