nOw Fall Fair Centennial Parade
and no matter how ' you'. look'. at
this was a ' parade, that was
unique for the size of this ' com-
munity and it certainly was '. as
good, as any ever' seen before in
the village: `.
Charlie Webster headed the • par-
ade ' committee and dida bang-up
job of getting: entries in the par-
ade and : then carrying it through
in an efficient manner., But , as
Charlie ` said, a lot of assistance'
,was '.needed:.; to make the parade
a success and many . who helped
deserve . equal praise.. ' Harold
Greer.: brought a :`'walkie-talkie"
radio set on the scene and "infor-
/nation was passed on from the'
' starting 'point, to well on in •the'
parade route;.,
'We . counted about seventy en-
tries in.' the : parade (forgive us if
we missedyou). and with, the, hor-
ses: and, `•bikes,, etc. as individual
units, it will be ;estimated •that Ponies.. }.

To observe the anniversary, the
Salkelds' immediate family took

Walkerton 'for dinner. Later, upon
returning to the Boyle borne, they
were honoured by about. 35 rela-
tives : from the 'Goderich and . St.
Helens area, ' Miss Wilhelmina ..Ru-

Mr. McConnell was born . and•

Van Dams ' are living.. He hasn't
beensst since his parents gold-
en wedding in' 1913.
Betta and Bob were out to. see

han-dicapped by : failing eyesight, . he.
was keenly interested in hearing

years ago.
