Twenty-three' boys of the Luck-

spent .a week -end of camping on
Gordon Montgomery's property at
•the• foot of the 12th of Ashfield
on August 6, 7 and 8th. The name
given the camp, was Camp Gem-:
ini I.
The scouts • pitched ,four tents
for • the: Cubs, one of which had
to be ,abandoned the first • night
Friday), because • of t h e wind
and rain storm 'that night. But
on Saturday night all the Cubs
were able. to sleep out again'. •
Not so handy with the cooking,
the. Cubs • took along a few ex-..
)erierined cooks; Mrs. Ernest, But-
ton, Mrs;. Gordon Montgomery,
Mrs, 'Ken, Chester, Mrs; Jim Ar-

- ` Rain discourage the' boys sev-

they were all packed and ready
for home when the sun changed
their minds. Despite all the damp-•
