year old resident of Belfast, south,
of. Lucknow, met tragic death last
Thursday, ' when his car , plunged
into the .Goderich harbour..
A 'pathologist's' : report at- Strat-
ford General Hospital showed that
he had died from a heart attack
at the wheel of his car. <:
Glen was a victim of polio 11
years ago this Fall and has been
paralyzed from the waist' down.
He courageously overcame his
affliction to some degree and got
about with the aid of crutches::
He had a manually operated aut-
omobile in which he met his death.

some time now

Archer :property and contents of
the house andan auction sale was
held a • couple of weeks ago. .The
house 'was not sold at. the auction
and Mr. MacLeod has since sold
it to the Campbell) family.

During Friday Electrical Storm

A lightning storm on Friday
evening destroyed.the ' barn ': on
the: farm of Art Dickson at Port
Albert. The barn was levelled and
lost' :in the fire were: 17: brood
sows, 3000 bushels of grain; hay
and straw and a grain 'auger ' a-
long with other smaller items.
The' "crack" occurred about.
9:45 Friday .evening amidst a
heavy rain storm . and Art check-
ed from the window of his house.

Howeve, the barn . was struck'
and set on ' fire on the . north side
and this was not'visible from' the
house. It was over half and hour
later that the fire was, discover -
Art succeeded in removing a
Palamino stallion from the burn-
ing'' . barn and neighbours - saved'

at 990 Greenwood Avenue in Tor-
