TRIP TO THE MARITIMES '
Mrs. Howard,Robinson and
her daughter FSShirley Robin-
son returned home Wednesday,
August18 after an ' eight day,
auto trip to the Maritimes. The
trip included stops in Quebec, New
Brunswick, Nova Scotia and .Cape
Breton Island, N.S.
FIL 'Robinson is presently on
leave at• her home until Septem-
ber 15 ` when she will begin. 'a

A blacksmith for almost50 •years:
in Ashfield Township, Harvey
William Miller passed away on
Wednesday,' July 21,st in Wing -
ham and District Hospital after
a short illness '

loo County; . on July 9, 1888,. Mr.
Miller was the son ' of Adam Mil-
ler—and -- Catherine: ' Krauter.' He
married the former Ida . Mae
Stein`' of Ashfield on September
26, 191,7.

about 49 years ago.. Up until
about a year agoMr. Miller was
in
still very .active the business.,
The past ,'year he .had: not done'
as much blacksmith work.
Mr.. Miller is survived by his
wife; three daughters Mrs. • Lyle
(Rena)' Fitch %of. Toronto, Mrs.
Sydney. (Rhea) . Whitby of Luck -
now and Mrs. Kenneth (Emmel-
ine) ' Cameron • of Edmonton,- Al-
berta; one son Elwood of Tor,
onto; one brother Norman of Kit-
chener, ' formerly. of Columbus,
Ohio; two Sisters Mrs, Henry (Vio-
let) Youngblut and Mildred Mil-
ler of Kitchener; 12 grandchild-
ren.
:He was ..predeceased by .three
brothers, one ..of St. Jacobs and
the .other two Armand and Ralph
during 'World War One. •
Funeral service was held from
MacKenzie Memorial :Chapel on
July 24th at 2:30 pm. Rev. Rod

Greenhill Cemetery. • •
