charge of. the records: othersdirect.
the patients around 'and serve the
cupof coffee. and cookies. • Other
work undertaken is :the provid-
ing of dressings, •odd times ' a
house keeper hasbeen provided,,
or a nurse for a. time andtrans-
portation to and from the clinic::
Dr. McKibbon, is the `:Medical ad-
visor for the :Society,.
The Motto. ``Good• health and
good sense are two .of life's .bles-
sings" .,was given by Mrs. Ether -
'gen who dealt with mental health
and showed that ,one out of 16
people will at some time suffer 'an
acute mental illness. She proved
children; kneed love, acceptance,
independence, guidance, •••' control
security, . faith. ' Living in. ' a state
of advanced education, ' specialized
training of science `. and technol-
ogy gives .movement andmobility
which . is tearing 'out the roots Of
family and • community ties.
Housewives ' can : eliminate early
mornin& : tensions by getting ' ' up
earlier, dressing ,neatly, comb-
ing . hair.. . The early rising elim-
inates the Rush, Rush, Rush..Ner-
vous tension, worry, fear and an-
ger ' . produce illness , and..disease.

Mr. Vance was 'then introduced
by. Mrs. Russel Ross and he gave
the film, One Days Poison,, Which
Proved That Carlessness Kills.
The film was educational show-
ing how easy it is for parents . to
leave Poisonous pills . and liquids
where small • ;children, 'can get it
andof their sorrow, for "their care-
lessness '

iety locally.

Dublin, last Friday, when . Mrs.
Kilpatrick's parents, : Mr. ''. and:
Mrs. A. 'G. Thomson. of Wingham,. ,
were invited to that. home.
When' they .arrived they found
a : crowd of relatives: and friends
gathered ' to ' honour them ' on, the.
occasion of .their 25th wedding an-

and anniversary.

chapel .with a centre aisle. The

A mockwedding was then held,

given. away by her brother, Lance
