•ers' Federation held their annual
banquet at Ivanhoe Club and six
retiring • teachers were prsented

School :an evening reception arran-
ged by. 'past Home. & School pres-
idents: Many former teachers, par-

renew • acquaintance with ,, their
teacher. Miss Andrew. During the
evening' Florawas presented with
a beautiful evening; baggy a string
•of cultured pearls and.. -ear' rings,
and a silver •:tray 'with the inscrip-
tion, "In: appreciation :.of" thirty-
seven years of 'service•in. the dis
trict of Talbot Street School."

the School Staff oto a luncheon at
the. Latin 'Quarter's thus., bringing
to a. dose the fortieth chapter of
a teaching career. She . was the

personal friends;, all well 'wishers
of a happy retirement. 'A greeting

a former teacher who is now
teaching in Kenya, Africa' a mis-'

district,' many came from Chicago,
Detroit, Toronto, : Windsor,.' .Lon
don and Western. Canada.

ber of the clan .attending the re-
union.
