Friday, . the Ripley -Huron .Legion
staged a very successful chick-'
en .barbecue" at the, Ripley Mein-
oriel
emorial Park. This ' is the . second
year this event /has been held. •. A-
bout 470 adults a and children were
served, a ..larger crowd than, last
year. Because • of : the . damp
grounds,' supper was eaten in the
basement of the Township 'Hall•.
Kincardine Junior : Pipe Band
was in attendance and a . bingo.
and carnival was held after the
supper.'
