He was .the son of William Blake and'Mary Jane MallouS h, His';. marriage to Laura •Ethel Phillips of Ashfield took, place on September 24, 1913, at the . home of the bride's 'parents.' Mr. and Mrs. :Blake farmed tn the home farm. Mrs. Blake passed away in September of • 1948. Two years` later ;he went to 'live With his. daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. ,Gordon .
