• The Webster' Re -union. which
was held in` McGregor Park, Bay-
field,, on Saturday, 'June 19th, was
attended by over eighty .descen-
dlnts` of the Webster. clan, repre-
•sented from the Varna, Seaforth,.
Lucknow .and .Dungannon commun-
ities, also members . from Edmon-
.'ton, London
Toronto, ,Detroit,
Windsor, Port Colborne, .Forest,
Sarnia and Clinton were,. present.
Ideal'weather gadded : "much to, the
enjoyment of the. gathering.
The early part.. of the afternoon
was spent in greeting relatives
and watching a ball -game. At the
close of . a • bountiful supper '.the
President;" Watson Webster, Var-
na, welcomed all ;present and pre-
sented . silver, dollars .to .the fol-
lowing; oldest personpresent, . Ro-
bort Webster, 87; youngest, person
- present, Warren Irwin, son of Mr.

spoke briefly of his pleasure' in
slaving the opportunity of attend-
ing . his first, Webster picnic.

Robert ' Webster,, Clinton, whose
name was on 'the In .Memoriam
list had the 'unique. 'record of be-
ing present at every . annual . r.e-
union since it ' was; first' held over
forty years ago. A letter, was read
front the. • Ontario 'Heart . °Founda-
tion acknowledging , a donation
from • the members in tribute to
all the older :members who have
faithfully attended .the gathering

now.
After his marriage to Zetta A.
Congram in :1912, theyfarmed for.
about; four years and then moved
to. Lucknow. Wellington was 'an.
auctioneer and a mineral. sales
man..in. this area. Mrs.. Render
'son :managed', the. Sepoy Store in
town: for a number' of : years.
He has been sick since Septem-
ber . of last year, being. hospitaliz-
ed in Wingham Hospital fortwo
months and then in . Pinecrest
Manor until. the Sunday before' he
died when he:: was., again taken to
Wingham' Hospital.,
'Besides his wife, Mr. Hender
son is survived ,by four daught-
ers, Mrs., W. M. (Marjorie) Gra-
ham, Toronto; Mrs. R. D. (Aud-
rey) 'Trench, Listowel; Mrs. ' Don.
(Joy) Graham, Sarnia; Mrs ' Herb
(Lois). Nisbet, Atlanta, Georgia;`
one brother Eldon and. one sister
Mrs. Ida Quance, :`:both : of Luck -
now; seven grandchildren. and . two
great ; grandchildren. •.
The funeral~ service was held;
from MacKenzie 'Memorial .Chap-
el on Sunday, ' June' l3th, at '2:30,
.p.m. .' Rev. H. Strapp 'officiated.
Burial was in Greenhill 'Cemetery.,

on Saturday evening at the fun-
